ChastainPark Amphitheatre is located in Buckhead off of Roswell Road. The venueis home to a large set of concert series featuring well-known musicians fromrock, jazz, r&b, and other various genres. Seating options vary in the 6700capacity venue from tables (first offered to entire concert series purchasers),orchestra seating, and general admission seating on the lawn. Concertgoers areallowed to bring picnic items to the majority of the amphitheatre's shows.Parking is extremely limited, so plan on arriving early or carpooling.

Lakewood Amphitheatre (formerly known as HiFi BuysAmphitheatre) houses some of the biggest tours that come through Atlanta. Thevenue is located on 2002 Lakewood Way, south of Downtown Atlanta off of theLangford Freeway exit on I-75/85. The amphitheatre offers 7,500 well-litparking spaces free of charge, and it has a capacity of 19,000, with room for12,000 patrons on the lawn and 7,000 reserved seats.
The Roxycan be found at 3110 Roswell road in the middle of Buckhead, right at thePeachtree Rd / Roswell Rd split. The old theater turned concert hall holds 1000people between the downstairs standing room area and the upstairs seatedbalcony. The slanted floor results in another perfect place to watch a band.With the closing of the Cotton Club, The Roxy is now offering 1/2 show set upsfor smaller bands wishing to play in front of 600-700 people.
Located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta by the CNN Center and CentennialOlympic Park, Philips Arenais a 21,000 capacity venue that hosts sporting events, special features, andlarge concerts. The arena is home to the Atlanta Thrashers and the AtlantaHawks as well. There are approximately 4,000 parking spaces owned by the arena,but there is ample parking in the lots surrounding the facility, along witheasy access through MARTA. The arena offers many different varieties of foodand drinks as well.
Smiths Olde bar holds about 300 people and its live music area is above themain bar. Located at 1580 Piedmont Ave in midtown, the venue has played home tomany a national act as well as showcasing some of the best local bands. It hasan impressive stage and excellent acoustics. The new 'Atlanta Room' below the main room opened in 2003 and features more'acoustic' style acts nightly.
